**Remedial Measures:**  

A) Inspect/repair the fuel transfer pump, replace if necessary  

B) Inspect/replace the injectors  

C) Install cold start device, inspect and repair, replace if necessary  

D) Use high-quality diesel with low sulfur content, recommended maximum sulfur content 0.5%  

E) Check throttle travel  

F) Refer to "Engine Temperature Exceeds Normal Range"  

G) Adjust/check valve clearance  

H) Refer to the user manual for correct lubricant capacity and specifications  

I) Inspect for leaks and replace faulty components  

J) Review fuel injection pump settings and adjust accordingly  

K) Clean/replace or regrind valves  

L) Refer to "Low Compression Pressure"  

M) Replace crankshaft bearings and check lubricant replacement intervals  

N) Replace valve spring
