**Causes:**  

A) Fuel tank is empty  

B) Stop solenoid failure  

C) Fuel shut-off valve malfunction  

D) No fuel injection from the injectors  

E) Loose suction pipe connections on the fuel transfer pump  

F) Fuel filter clogged or suction pipe blocked  

G) No fuel in the injection pump  

H) Air intake or exhaust system blockage  

I) Fuel pump drive shaft broken  

J) Gear pump scoring or gear wear  

K) Fuel transfer pump failure  

L) Injector nozzle blocked  

**Remedial Measures:**  

A) Refill the fuel tank  

B) Inspect the stop solenoid and replace if necessary  

C) Refer to "Possible Faults with the Fuel Shut-Off Valve"  

D) Loosen the fuel pipe between the injection pump and cylinder head, then crank the engine to check for fuel discharge  

E) Tighten all filter pipe connections between the fuel tank and injection pump  

F) Replace the fuel filter and inspect fuel hoses for blockages  

G) Prime the fuel injection pump  

H) Check the air intake and exhaust systems for blockages  

I) Contact the authorized dealer  

J) Contact the authorized dealer  

K) Inspect/repair the fuel transfer pump and replace if necessary  

L) Inspect/clean or replace the injectors
