1. Place the generator set on a level surface and run the engine for a few minutes to raise the oil temperature, then shut down the engine.  

2. Remove the oil filler bolt.  

3. Position an oil pan under the engine, remove the oil drain plug, and allow the oil to drain from the crankcase.  

4. Inspect the oil drain plug, sealing ring, and rubber gasket. Replace them immediately if damaged.  

5. Reinstall and tighten the oil drain plug securely.  

6. Refill with oil until the level reaches slightly above the upper mark on the oil dipstick's mesh grid.

Note:

1. Change the oil immediately after the generator set has been in operation for the first 20 hours.  

2. Replace the oil every 1,000 hours of operation.

Storage

How should Weifang diesel generator sets be stored when not in use for short periods?  

1. Drain all fuel from the system.  

2. Rotate the engine’s piston to the top dead center of the compression stroke.  

3. Move the unit indoors for storage, cover it with a protective cloth, and ensure it is not placed in damp areas. 

    Do not store it near flammable, explosive, or corrosive materials. Periodically rotate the crankshaft.
